<Barrick was a perfect trading vehicle for me over the last three years. >

Silly me, I thought the whole point was making money not slamming Barrick. From 1998, when I re-enter the gold market after a two year vacation, I doubled the value my gold portfolio only using ABX.

Personally, I find hate to be a most unproductive emotion, which can affect judgement and lead to poor decision making. I try to channel what little time and energy I have into doing something positive and productive, which is probably why I continue to put the effort into GOLDSHEET. When I was a marketing manager, I dealt with salesman who thought their job was to slam the competition instead of promoting my product. Considering NEC was my major competitor, putting US flags, "made in USA" stickers, telling Japanese jokes and bringing up Pearl Harbor were all considered appropriate strategies. When asked, I told customers NEC made a good product but they might wish to buy my product instead for sound logical rational reasons. Long-term one does not lift themselves up by stepping on others, although some consider it fun and it does work short-term ;)

I love selective charting
Add a few other companies to see even deeper doo-doo;
ca.finance.yahoo.com

or you can go further back;
ca.finance.yahoo.com

A 75% loss is really an opportunity to make 300% in the future.
Don't get mad at gold stocks, just try to get even !
