GH, the bulls set up greenspan as diety on the way up, because he's brought this patient back from the brink so many times, there will be a time when the "put" doesn't work.

I really doubt that one man or one institution has as much effect on this as people think, the market is driven by mass psychology, greenspan is more of a bit player than most people think imbo, after a lengthy bull run excesses build up, they have to be wrung out, so the next bull can start, we don't know the level of excesses or the length of the period that will be necessary for this "correction" to run.

nobody wants to take responsibility for their own actions, so they blame greenie because their portfolio is whacked,
