Ted, I would say that the belief that the government should decide what to do with a large percentage of the wealth generated by its citizens is an egocentric and power seeking viewing of the world by those that spend the money and those that push for a lot of spending.

Tim,

On the contrary, its doing what the Bible tells us to do which is to help our fellow man and those who are less fortunate. The party of the religious right is one of hypocrisy...its talks of God and the Bible but wants to keep its $$$ for itself and the poor be damned.

If Reps. were children, they would be considered immature and selfish, and the adults in their lives would be trying to teach them to share.
