Bill. Yes. I absolutely believe it's a good sign when cos. buy back their own stock. I just wonder why all this doom and gloom from the CEO of CSCO almost every day lately. I am sure it's so but it drives down the stock price even more but this in turn will make a good buy back situation for stock options for employees etc. Analysts still talk of no hurry buying CSCO. I am keeping my eyes on CSCO, SUNW, EMC and a cpl of the other stocks we talked about. Some QQQ will be in my future. But triple witching, tax selling etc. still keep me from buying more at this time. This could be a mistake but I bought some stocks in the last month and everything went down along with the stocks I am holding. Some more selling before this would have been prudent. I am still tempted a bit but it's hard to get back in when you sell at a loss. So I am stuck, I guess. I just blame it all on Greenspan. gg. But I do think he was def. not on the ball in the last year. Too many rate hikes and now not enough rate cuts and def. too slow. He does not think so, of course. He does have some hawkish FED GOVs but then he is the top and the rule: The buck stops here applies. I would like to see at least a 75 basis point rate cut. That could help struggling cos. a lot right now. Sonny PS. The market is doing it's thing right now. I was out and just noticed. Let's hope it lasts.
