OK. OK. I agree with the opportunity thing. I'm not arguing that with you. You're in the "Buy Now" camp. I'm not. Not yet at least. I don't have the guts to call a bottom. Some here on SI have been calling a bottom after every major drop since 5000. I don't catch falling knives. I'd rather wait and see. The way I see it, we're NOT going to have that "V" bottom rally. I think this is going to drag on for a while longer and build itself into a "cup & handle" bottom. Until I see the cup forming, which can take months to form, I'm not going to position myself. That's just how I see it. That's how I'm going to play my hand.

Larry Kudlow ? Another CEO of a great Tech company, or a CNBC analyst ? Name rings a bell, but can't put a face to it.

CB,
I agree on the ready, willing part. You have to be buying when you can, not when you have to as the stocks fly higher. You have to buy when you know it's cheap. You have to have the gut feel, and then stick with your plan, use sell stops to protect yourself. This is not a game for everyone. We can see it's not appropriate for many professionals in the industry.

It feels good when you're on the rocket, but the key is to stay the course and not jump off early, before you reach that GRAND destination. Right?

In 1998, I had CHKP at 25-35, rode it down to 10 on 10/8/98, it rallied strong to 25 within a week. Then 50 within a month. 100% on my money and 400% in a month. I took it. It's price today after this correction is 260 (65 after 2 2-1 splits).
