Now you all are saying that but back in Nov-Dec, there was a different version running around...that the election confusion was causing problems for the Naz and once a new president was elected there would be a rally.....that in fact the markets would prefer Bush over Gore.

I wasn't saying that. I am only responsible for what I post.

I do think the markets did at the time prefer Bush over Gore and either to uncertainty. However I think that whole issue was only a very small part of the bear market. If Bush or Gore or anyone else had won a landslide, or a clear but norrow victory, there still would have been a bear market that at most would be marginally different then what we are facing now. The bear market was not caused by Gore or by election uncertainty.
