Bob, hedging represents downside protection in a Bear Market, which is good. The issue is that many here blame ABX and other hedgers for the Bear Market in Gold, which I find ludicrous. Why should a gold producer be bullish and remove their hedges when they perceive the fundamentals to still be bearish? Lack of insight leads to conspiracy talk. But Conspiracies don't produce Bear Markets.
