Sweden's about level with the US, 50-55% of population with active Net usage: actually I thought it was higher, but (apologies to CH) I may have been thinking of the Finns after all!
Connectis is a good survey: it lacks Japanese numbers too often, which is my only real gripe about it.

BTW,, the FT is a good trustworthy source, if any media is. Mainly apolitical, but with (by UK standards) a centre-right bias, and very business-focussed. Yet still readable - hey, I can manage it - and neither as US-dominated as the WSJ, nor as appallingly designed in print...
