Then you should not be using 5 year historical charts to "prove" some point about selected companies.

Do a careful and complete performance analysis of ALL firms, then present the final results. Otherwise, it looks like you have already reached a conclusion and are looking for evidence to validate it. Most gold essays, for example, have already decided they want to conclude that "gold is good" and go find selected data to build a bullish case, and ignore anything that does not fit. It is NOT a good scientific method.

I know you are much more responsible than that, you would not decide the XXX Mining was a good company then go looking for drill results and data to "prove" it. You have credibility to read new releases, study the drill results, then come to the objective conclusion that XXX Mining is a good investment, not visa versa. (this paragraph was a compliment, BTW)
