Hi KLP,

The only other merger I've ever been part of so far is when Cisco bought my cheap little AIRO shares, and suddenly I had a load of CSCO for 15 bucks a share, when it was trading at 80....it was seamless and very profitable. But that was in the old days LOL.

But lately two of my other trading favorites have been hit on mergers, ARBA buying AGIL, one of my favorite trading stocks, and NTIQ buying WEBT...they have both taken big hits, bringing their buyout targets to new lows but I think it's due to valuation and current market conditions more than the merger. Seems the ALLR buy has taken a toll on MACR also...

INSP BOD member Proposed "Insider Trade" confirmed:

Filed 3/1/2001
John (& Carolyn) Cunningham
Proposed sale: 500,000 shares
(Estimated proceeds = $1,860,000)

Mr. Cunningham (a member of the INSP Board of Directors) has been a fairly busy boy, regarding the selling of his INSP shares. Between 3/31/99 thru 12/12/2000 he has made 15 trades of his shares (not counting the most recent filing). All were "SELLS."

According to the Joint Proxy Statement (pg. 120) mailed to all INSP and GNET shareholders prior to the "merger" vote on 10/12/2000, John E. Cunningham, IV had a total of 902,263 shares of INSP. This included 92,806 shares held by "Clear Fir Partners LP," of which he was the President.

By my calculations, he's proposing to dump 55.42% of his INSP shares all at once. Nice vote of confidence (from a "Pre-Merger" INSP Board member) in the company for us other "little" shareholders, huh? Ah heck...maybe he just needs a little extra spending money, even though the stock is a few cents off its 52 week low. :(

Roger

PS. Levy, I was trying my very best to find something (anything) "new" to post that was "positive." I really REALLY was... honest.
