My favorite trade had to be a buy at $19.50 on 11/30/98, a sell at $23.25 on 05/06/99 (the day before the BOE sales announcement), then buying it back on 05/18/99 (less than two weeks later) at $17.6875

The best part was that the proceeds from every 1000 shares sold on 05/06/99 gave me over 1300 shares when replaced on 05/18/99, which made me 30% more leveraged going into the September 1999 rally of all gold stocks.
