With the net the best way to deterime book value is to log onto a company web site, go to investor relations and pull up the latest balance sheet. Goodwill has gotten out of hand.

In this environment its best to see how much cash / share (fully diluted shares) and cash vs. the latest qtr burn rate. Of course you have to also look @ DSO's and liabilities (who cares if you have cash if you'll burn through it in a few quarters).
