"If your thoughts are illusions,"

I didn't say that. I said the idea of a time that is past is an illusion; and, the idea of a time that is future is illusion.

"...then on what basis do you justify your pronouncements?!!"

Well, you are the physical science zealot; so, demonstrate for me the existence of a past. You can't, because it doesn't exist only the present does. In the present you can give me all of the historical referents you want but you are still not giving me the past. Even if you produce a time machine and run me to your favorite year, I will be experiencing it in the present.

Prove the existence of a past, or future.

"Why would I want to respect your thoughts if they are illusions, as they are by the time they get to me??"

First, you respecting anything, comes under your responsibility not mine. I have my doubts about your abilities in this area. Secondly, as I have stated, time is an illusion...not thought. Thought is thought, and it is always in the present.

"IOW, watch out for that truck."

"Do you mean that illusion?"

If a truck hits you and you die? If you have not thought after your death, has time run out for you?

If a universal truck hits all of the thinking creatures and there is no more consiousness of past and future does the past exist? How is there a future, when there is no one to give thought of the future?
