Shorty, Corvis is presenting at the ML Global Conference 12 March-14 March. You can actually catch their demonstration on the webcast over the Internet <go to company website>. Its nice to theorize and be one step ahead of the game so you can trade accordingly but all you are accomplishing is guessing. With that in mind, dont go into hiding when the market turns. Softie, where do you get insider data? Don't laugh :-). I just checked yahoo and they said that in the last six months only 0.4% of insider shares were sold. If that's right doesn't seem like a mass exodus to me. Also, if the company was near a sale, no-one outside the "inner circle" would know for sure. Corvis has been the subject of buy-out rumors for so long that if I were an insider, I wouldn't be holding every last share in the hope that one of them was true. Just playing devil's advocate here. The stocks been a great short, but I wouldn't bash the technology. I think Cisco made quite a few overtures and was rebuffed.

You mention the fact that you dont like the secrecy of CORV products.. alot of people didnt like that about CIEN either :) I follow alot of what you post Softie, but not only do I think you are dead wrong about CORV, both short term and long, but I also cant believe all the energies you put behind posting every single little last insider sale.. Its actually kinda annoying to be honest :) Like I said in an earlier post, whoever is right will make the money.. but your starting to remind me alot of the 'anthony elgindy' messages of old where if you were on the wrong side of his trade, he would destroy you all over s/i.. now he justs sues you :)
