No need to argue with ME about the contributions of England. Actually, I wasn't... I was trying to make the point that I'm not arguing from any standpoint of national superiority either. For some strange reason I often find myself getting defensive on the matter on US-funded, US-based fora... <g> heavens know, I find no need to run down the UK in such places. This'll teach me to argue the case of a neutral third party, I guess (especially when I'm not a resident expert...). ;-D ts
