Aus, thank you for that. What do you think about the 4800. Mixed reviews. Here is my thinking:

I can get it for under $400 - tax & shipping included. It's my first digital camera. It might not be the best, but it's cheap. And it's 3.3 mega pixels. In a couple of years, I will upgrade, when I can get a 5 or 6 mega pixel camera under a thousand.

Initially, I thought I'd spend $800 or $900. Now I'm thinking I should wait for REAL photo quality before I spend that much.

What do you think? I'm only asking because I heard someone recommend getting a 2.1-2.5 mega pixel camera over the Kodak.
