I find it overwhelming to think of the claims that could be lodged over the centuries. I had thought the idea was to make progress, and to encourage others to do the same. Move towards some semblance of civic order and international comity through which the peoples of the Earth can prosper as they go about their business, without fear of the rap at the door and the midnight interrogation, and without fear of missile attack in the heat of the afternoon. It is one thing to remember both sides of the story of our nation's history, and another to relentlessly build a case against the United States........
