Hummingbirds. Get a feeder. Use sugar water in a ratio of 1 part sugar to 4 parts water. Heat until dissolved. Cool. Change every 2-3 days.

What to plant? Anything with red flowers. I have also found that the hummingbirds at my house adore fuchsias. Tubular.

I haven't had a lot of luck in my own yard except with Impatiens, believe it or not! I've tried the sugar water and they don't seem to be attracted to it and the feeder is even in the middle of Lantana. The ants love the water a lot!! At Callaway Gardens they absolutely love the Shrimp Plants.....the flower is shaped like a shrimp and is a golden yellow. Very beautiful bush and they grow in our area, Rudi!
