Transmeta taking Linux gadgets mobile brighthand.com Transmeta, the employer of Linux founder Linus Torvalds, has released Midori Linux, its version of Linux for mobile devices. Brighthand News Reporter Eugene Liu comments: Transmeta and Midori's offering further strengthens Linux's role in future mobile computing. With Linus Torvalds, the "Father of Linux" as the company's star employee, it looks like Transmeta may create a stir in the PDA world as it did in the chip world. Look for new Midori-based products at the CeBIT Computer Show in Germany next week.
