Kingston may have validated some idea that rewarding the workers when the company was under no obligation to do so was the "correct" balance for capitalist endeavor, rather than extracting every last ounce from the employees or providing incentives (stock options etc.) that distorted the mission of the company. It might be hard to sell this concept to more widely held corporations.:)
