rrman - that's a good question and on further reflection its harder to answer than my quick initial reaction was.

I'm not that familiar with A@P and know of Tokyo Joe mainly from his SEC inspired press.

I wouldn't want to make a judgement call on either style - momo up; momo down; fundamental down - after all, I'm just a trader and trade the trend, despite having an interest in the underlying mechanics of markets and economies.

I would assume the TJ thread mostly attracted people drawn to the bubble building excesses, and since so many believed in the justifications of the era, they deserve the title more.

I think its irresponsible for threads and sites to post "picks", particularly if they are low-volume small cap stocks easily influenced by the sudden attention of 'gurus'.

Teaching people to trade is ok, if people learn to fish they can make it their vocation if they choose to. Its best that people learn what is carp and what is crap.

I didn't think either Tokyo Joe or A@P were clowns. They seem to have things figured out pretty well. That BS that Tokyo Joe was spinning about "you buy here, you sell there, what's hard about that?" is just BS, and he knows it. He's playing a completely different game than the one he's talking. They both know how to fleece the suckers, which is a surefire way to get rich if you've got the stomach for it.

Clowns are people who believe their own BS.

>>Who was the CLOWN in your estimation? <<

TJ by a landslide!

Thanks for putting that out. Very interesting. So that is how the other half lives. Maybe I am not a millionaire because my office is so messy compared to Tokyo Joe's. I have 10Qs and 10Ks all over the place, option chain printouts taped to my screens..................

Good Luck,

Lee
