Competent F-106 pilot (QED - no crashes)...... Don't you mean GB senior?

You are right Brian.... it was GB senior, but he had one serious crash .... it was called the National Economy..... it cost him a second four years in office......

Business as usual... Democrats kicking Republicans.....Repubilicans trampling Democrats....
What we need is a third major party.

GWB was a Texas Air National Guard fighter pilot. He flew F-106 Interceptors. At the time, his unit's responsibility was primarily focused on preventing Soviet bombers from flying across the Caribbean from Cuba. Regardless of the media characterization, he was a front-line trigger-puller ... but only on weekends. The fact that he could effectively control a high-performance delta-wing jet fighter without becoming a lawn-dart is demonstrated by his survival. QED.

GHWB was a Navy pilot during WWII. He flew the TBF Avenger, a torpedo bomber with a three-man crew. His aircraft was shot down late in the war; of his crew, only he survived to be rescued by a US submarine.

You are correct - they were *both* pilots.
