Ron, I guess it depends on the "Church" you are referring to. If "the Church" means collectively all Christian churches, then I don't agree. I think the statement should read: "Groups who attract members for selfish gain or to satisfy their own greed and who protect their image rather than acknowledging their humanity are all cut from the same cloth and have no right to special consideration or protection from the people."

However, I've seen Hollywood's idea of "the Church" and it has no resemblance to reality. Most churches struggle to follow Christ's example. Some don't make it. A few are merely charlatans. Don't judge the many by the few.
