W & the Japanese PM are to 'talk' about the markets/per news...could result in some bouyancy..maybe. The way I see the charts, chances are good, we haven't seen the bottom. We have a hard down channel going..but are in long term, stage one, buy range..IMHO.
I picked up QQQs at 45.xx and passed yesterday. I'm waiting for 1900, 1800 to average down. Should we push the 1600-1700 range..possible..I will become more aggressive.
If we don't hit any of those lower targets..fine with me.
I have been picking up more ATCO.
Best,
Savant

Americhip is the perfect choice to promote and distribute HSS for this application due to their established relationships with marketing groups in these major international corporations."

Terry Conrad, president of ATC, stated, "We are fast-tracking development of an HSS system that will store, amplify and emit pre-recorded audio clips in a point-of-purchase device for Americhip's major accounts. The successful penetration of HSS into this broad market will provide an attractive revenue platform and a great vehicle to introduce this revolutionary technology to consumers and the general public."

Tim Clegg, president of Americhip Inc., stated, "Americhip is in the business of audio content management, including assisting Fortune 500 companies in creating and managing their Audio Logos. HyperSonic Sound (HSS) Technology, developed in the laboratories of American Technology Corp. in San Diego, is a revolutionary sound reproduction system. American Technology Corp. Issued Patent for Virtual Speakers Using Award-Winning Hypersonic Sound
-- HSS -- Technology

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 2001--

Method Removes Need for Cumbersome Wiring for
Side/Rear Speakers in Home Theater and Surround Sound Systems

American Technology Corp. (NASDAQ:ATCO) a licensor of innovative
new sound technologies, today announced that it has been issued patent
No. 6,229,899 from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office protecting its
"method and device for developing a virtual speaker distant from the
sound source."
In this method, the company's HSS(TM) Technology, incorporated
into the video screen or front speakers, effectively replaces surround
sound speakers and wiring when its unique directional properties are
employed to create virtual speakers at any desired location throughout
a room. Additionally, this patent secures the company's method for
synchronizing audio output such that the listener hears a unified
sound experience from multiple directions.
Jim Croft, chief technology officer of ATC, stated, "This patent
protects what we believe is an extremely important application for
HSS. Now, for the first time, the surround speakers can be located at
the front of a room with the video screen and main speakers while
projecting virtual sound sources to the back and side walls of a room,
enveloping the listener with a full surround sound experience. While
the audio emanates from a centrally located HSS emitter, the listener
perceives the source of sound to be the back or side walls.
"While we successfully continue pursuing and receiving further
coverage for our innovations surrounding Stratified Field(TM),
PureBass(TM), NeoPlanar(TM) and HSS Technologies, this patent and the
claims therein are significant for the use of our HSS Technology by
video and audio industry leaders, particularly in future home theater
and surround sound systems."
To date, the company's Intellectual Property portfolio includes
over 110 U.S. and Foreign patents and patent filings relating to its
HSS, Stratified Field, PureBass and NeoPlanar audio reproduction
technologies.
