Any comments on this thread about the prominent time spent in the Qualcomm presentation by Thornley at the Merrill Lynch global investors conference about Globalstar? (webcast available on www.qualcomm.com site under investor relations). Thornely indicated that the business model for G* going forward is 128 Kbps data for aviation and maritime markets. He also indicated that this would be upgraded to 600 kbps going forward with the 1xev technology. He clearly stated that the satellite constellation has some unique opportunities for data.
