What happens when the corporate suits tell the workers' bargaining committee (which I served on) "these actuarial tables, etc., are too complicated for anyone to really understand. Just trust us on this one." So the little bears take management's proposal to a pension lawyer and actuary and they all say the same thing: "Don't do it, boys and girls. Management's trying to pull a fast one here." Deceptions like this tend to ruin this "family bond," wouldn't you say?
