'Morning, P ... from what I gather, two things: 1. Greenspan cancelled some meeting/speaking engagement. 2. Rumors re (possible pending) Japanese bank failures; remarks/etc (very negative) from GS or some house like that about 15 Japanese banks. Do you or anyone else here see any correlation between the two events? bia

Poet: Realizing this is not a good day to ask you... ...questions like this being a novice, reply only if and when you feel like doing so. I don't understand the terms you use in re looking up options chains on these indexes: i.e. 'VIX,' and 'VXN' and the DJX, etc. What do you look at when considering buying options on the VXN, DJX? I use Fidelity to get options chains. Obviously, QQQ is easy. QQQ is the ticker. Hope you and all are having a good day despite living on the edge <g> ... I surely feel that way myself. bia
