FWIW, I'm back in this morning initiating a short-term short play at 48-1/4.

Mike, the dinner bell may be ringing but who knows what's for dinner? The ratio DOW/NAZ has oscillated around 5 for years.

<<What will you buy and when will you buy it?>>

Yes, that's the $64 question, isn't it. I wish I knew the answer. I don't have an specific predictions on when we'll hit bottom, or where the best deals will be. But there's more and more froth every day and we do seem to be approaching some sort of climax. My comments regarding hearing the dinner bell were simply meant to convey the idea that selling pressure is getting more and more intense, and that the manic/depressive market is clearly swinging to the "irrational pessimism" side, and that there could be all sorts of buying opportunties opening up soon. Hopefully we'll be able to recognize them when the present themselves, and have enough conviction to act.

I'll be looking at my favorite semi-equip cos naturally, particularly NVLS, AMAT, MTSN, and PRIA. But I don't really expect to get any big bargains on those in the near term. I particularly like IMNX, a biotech with very good visibility and even better prospects if you can wait 18 months. I had planned to wait one or two quarters before adding to my position there, but its recent price is getting rather compelling.

FWIW.
