I agree- the champagne was merely because I got out from those puts even after a stupid decision yesterday that worked out for me. The rest of my portfolio is very ugly, our funds have lost so much that my husband is actually resubmitting financial aid forms to colleges (we will have two in private ones next year) and I know there must be people who will be shattered at their next statements. I just talked to someone who sold everything yesterday- she said she couldn't stand it. If I sounded callous, I didn't mean to be. Btw, I am only trading options with about 2% of our money.
