No that is not the answer to his problem the answer would be let one write off all losses instead of the $3000!

The lack of it (reduction of cap gain) is the most disappointing aspect of Bush's tax cut. For all his fault, Greenspan seems to get it more than the Bush team does. Capital gain tax is the single most devastating destroyer of wealth, entreprenourship and plain jobs.
