Looks like a lot of shorts were a bit suprised that the open wasn't as bad as the futures indicated.

making positive comments on the PC sector. With group trading
near historic lows, believes there is very little downside left. Thinks
that investors who want to enter tech should look here first. Compaq
(CPQ 19.75 +1.37) is the analyst's favorite name in the group
