On the thoughts of capitulation.

in '87, it was what 22% in one day? So okay, the naz is down 60% from hight. Would a 25% drop in one day be unreasonable? Under normal valuations I would say sure. But with the average PE still high on the comp and future guidance is as of right now nil(not saying it won't improve, it probably will- from zero that's a lay up<G>)

Anyhow, going off a 25% spanking in one day:

1800 ->>> 1350
2000 ->>> 1500(would be 70% off the high)
2300 ->>> 1725

I'm opting for the medium and sticking with my comp LOTY of 1450. IMO, if there isn't capitulation before the FOMC on the 20th, it will be worse when it hits. It also appears they are trying to rally them into the meeting. Maybe as high as 2300. Than a jolt down to 2K. Just when everyone thinks we've based there, wham here comes a left hook. What I wonder though is where that hook will come from? Middle East?

EDIT: Maybe i have it all wrong, I'm just speculating here.
