Scumbria, RE: The big difference is price. Everybody is interested in saving money. Indeed. And given that the supply of PIII's is still plentiful, everyone is free to save that money. I noticed that you didn't dispute my statement that the average computer buyer didn't give a hoot about the difference between the PIII and the P4. If those two statements are givens, then blaming the P4 for slow computer sales is as absurd as it initially sounded, perhaps more so.
