Eric, I'm more concerned about the possibility of lousy forward guidance if, as ALA sez, h.s.'s are piling up at the carriers.

Siemens sez handset sales look lousy as well.

I'd discount ERICY and MOT on the grounds that NOK is picking up market share from those players, but not sure that Siemens and ALA warnings s/b disregarded here.

Per Siemens, 450MM handsets in 2001 worldwide. I'd tend to give that forecast a lot more credibility than, say, KYO's of the same amount, which I basically disregarded.

Just my two cents. I lightened up on NOK accordingly.
