larry, many feel that we will have a short term rally till
April 15 +/- a few days. After that it is up
for grubs. We may go down or not depending on how things develop.
Whether after April 15 we retest 1900 or 1800 or
go all the way down to 1500 is hard to tell.
The major qualifier in all this, simply is one name: GWBush.
IMHO we finally have a leader and he will surprise all.

It's all in the leadership. We have been leaderless
since Reagan in 1988,and look at the disater we've had.
This disaster started developing 10 years ago.
This is simply the crash of this turkey,
in the past 12 months,

TA

larry, I am looking for an explosive move up on the Naz tomorrow and right into the FED meeting. The fact that the Dow was dropping more today may be signalling the rotation from old to new economy again. The nasdaq won't get close to old highs but should easily hit 2500 in the near term (1 to 2 weeks), IMHO.

I keep asking why did the Nasdaq not tank today? The only answer I can come up with is that it has bottomed at current levels. Seen many commentators say that the Nasdaq's relative strength is a good sign. If we see a few more days with Nasdaq gains while the other parts of the market stay flat or decline, we could get a stampede back into tech, triggering massive short covering along the way.

Not ready to jump into JDSU right away but will give it serious consideration if the big caps like MSFT, INTC, DELL, CSCO types start moving up.
