ben, about this time last year i had a discussion with a coworker. bottom line, csco, msft, dell, oracle and another company or two were going to split 4 more times and go to par and he would retire. that is what he said. i said he was nuts and did some math. his 5 companies would be worth more than the entire us gdp even after alan.com got done screwing the numbers higher! when i pointed this out he responded by saying, "they did before." then added, "it's not like they'll ever go to where i bought them." well, well, 2001 ain't done yet ;-) i don't think he will admit to the conversation b/c i let him have it and he isn't one to admit looking stupid. ;-) ho ho ho ho ho ho ho! ;-)
