Kelvin, I don't think Fed will move before meeting either. However, with most not expecting it--he may! Thats his modis operandi. If they lower by only 50bps or less--look out below! The treasury market leads me to think we are close to long term bottom....just need to get the DJIA down a bit lower--the NAZ is where he wants it. It would be interesting to get Elain Garzarelli's take on Fed. Afterall, she and Greenspan were in same Columbia MBA program together. As of now, she's looking like a "goof-ball". I sent her an e-mail, but didnt call her a goof-ball in it--ggg!!
