nas is doing better than the dow. would ya believe. forget greenie. there will be a 50 basis point cut on the 20th. no more no less. he has a game plan and sees no need to veer from it. japan banks are a problem, but are they really a problem for US> Japan has about 6% of Treasuries. are they really going to sell US treasuries so they can invest in their own country's failing system !! US treasuries are the safest asset in the world today. greenie and andrea, boy, that's an exciting couple. wonder if they're into S & M? larry

Kelvin, its been some time since I chatted with Elaine Garzarelli, and recently she has kept quiet. Greenspan doesnt have to watch the market news--he has a staff that does that daily. Think of the current situation like this. Hope the market continues to sell-off, get really ugly, becuase when we buy, we will be entering at a time when most risk is out of the market. The longer this drags on the less risk remaining. I have done nothing because at some point this will be the best market to enter in decades. So if I give up some short term trading profits for being able to sleep at night--thats great--I'll make my bundle in the months that come, and hold hold hold and enjoy long term capital gains.
