Art, thanks. We can't wait a couple of months, our puppy is eight weeks old. I want to get shots of my nice new carpet before it is ruined, and my nice dress shoes, before they are downgraded to chew toys.

Hey, I found a GREAT forum on dpreview.com - they have tons of threads, dozens on just about every kind of camera. They also have a place where owners review their cameras. If found a place that has the Kodak 4800 for $390 - shipped and no tax. Too cheap to pass up.

For now, my HP 932 will have to work. I may upgrade soon, but I hear it does a pretty decent job.

Best,

Dave

Anyone get out to see the retail pricing of flash cards lately?

I suspect SanDisk is either tightening the thumb screws on weaker
competitors or SanDisk is just getting screwed by market conditions
at retail. Hard to figure out which.

I still have the statement that Eli made echoing in by head. That
is, he said flash card prices needed to come down. That's a good thing.
That's a positive, not a negative. I am just not sure he wanted pricing
to come down this far this fast.

Has anyone been out to their local electronics retailer lately?

I couldn't believe my eyes.
