P4 is not wine, it will not improve with age. It is an ugly young woman. That's your opinion, and you're entitled to it. I disagree. >>> I agree with you entirely. They state opinion, as if it were fact, about how you do things the old fashion way when you resize your images in Photoshop instead of letting the latest word processor take care of such matters for you - the new way of doing things. Unless you have some storage devices from EMC, why would you store images that could be 1, 10, 30, 50MB when you could resize them to 50-100KB and get the same effective image? The problem is that the world is very complex and getting more so as technology speeds up change at an ever faster rate. We are all wrapped into ourselves and can't see the forest from the trees. The computer market is getting so huge and so fast, unless you try open up a little, you can't imagine who are buying computers and what they are using it for. When they extrapolate from their own personal experience that price is very important and almost all important, they don't have a clue concerning all the variables that make a market. In a simple example, take the watch market. Intuitively, you would think watches are used primarily to tell time but that practicality and looks are also factors. You would thing that a $10-20 Timex or a Swatch watch would be all anyone would ever need. But does anyone know how many Rolexes they sell, not to mention all those other watches that sell from $50k and up? The computer market is infinitely more complex. Mary
