Not so sure OT or on T:

Our firm has a sizeable contract to provide engineering services to expand the Austin AMAT complex. This is not an office building. While this project is in the early stages and will take approx. 24 months, AMAT does not appear to be concerned with brick and mortar expansion at this point. That is something that we all must considered, a very well run company willing to expend the real bucks at this stage based upon future expectations. Historically, they have only gained market share without creating excessive debt.

FWIW, I do not own AMAT, I still think they will be punished by pre-announcing and be on sale in the upper twenties. I start in at $35. Jim P, what is your analysis. This company can easily make us a fortune with reasonable timing and in the right growth pattern which has up until now has been rather consistent.

FWIW - Japan's market holding so far in spite of wallstreet's meltdown today. Look positive so far, but who knows.
