This "hate crime" business" sounds suspiciously like Thought Crime. These people are basically pushing their own agenda and the current liberal nonsense du jour into the law. Other than intent, I fail to see why someone's thoughts when they commit a crime matter. The crime is what is to be punished, not their thoughts.
