The sentiment in the market was Greenspan is no longer god; and may even send him packing to get an IT person to build more hour to hour economical data banks in the FEDs. See my discussion at the "New US economy policy" thread. They now think 100 basis points cut may be enough. But the FOMC meeting is still too far away to keep on sending this kind of message. So, it is still too soon to call it a gift for some one with cash on the sidelines. Good luck with all your investments. And these messages will come to pass too.
