Bux,

My references to capacity have been current 2G comparisons and iDEN has served Nextel well in that regard, averaging 4.5x analog. It has also provided a true differentiated service allowing Nextel to capture the high end market with its direct connect feature, always on data connection, and SMS. I rather doubt Nextel would have been as successful with any other technology selection at its inception.

All operators must upgrade to achieve 2.5G and beyond, and I trust Nextel has selected the path which will provide the best return for their investment. As an independent operator without foreign intervention they are void of political influences which can often lead to questionable actions. I trust Nextel's selection of CDMA 1x technology was driven purely by financial models as they move toward this critical inflection point.

As always, time will tell.
