But, use whatever time frame you want. Let's even give it several more months. Are you planning a P4 upgrade soon??? Ha! LOL! I'm really dismayed to see the decay of intelligent discussion here... I already indicated why I didn't go with a P4 at this time, and I have noted that you had no cogent response to that post. If I had not been essentially given the P3 1GHz machine, I would have bought the P4 at this time because my P2 350 was not meeting my current computing needs, and IMO the 1.4-1.5GHz P4 represents the best long-term investment. As I only had to invest $400 in my new system, however, the economics were really quite simple.

TWY, I just find it pretty strange that no one (that I recall) on this thread has come forth I don't know if it counts, but Paul witnessed an elderly couple buying a P4. <g> Joe
