Well, the P4 is finally out. And Intel can't sell them even with big rebates...

Please provide data...

Next quarter, Intel PIII core chips with their 866/933 MHZ sweet spot will be very hard pressed to maintain an ASP of $100...

What's your source for the binsplit of Intel Pentium III processors on 0.18 micron?

By Q3, AMD will be sampling SOI parts. Remember how AMD's early move to copper kneecapped Intel? Get ready for the sequel.

By Q3 Intel will already be selling 0.13 micron parts with the ramp just beginning to take off. Intel's been sampling 0.13 micron for almost 6 months now. Sampling doesn't equal production... and Intel still contends SOI doesn't buy squat for speed. Intel contended copper didn't buy squat for speed either. Intel's demonstrated 2.0GHz air cooled on 0.18 micron... AMD may have demonstrated 1.3 or 1.4 air cooled to date...

In that time, AMD has stopped bleeding, and Intel has started hemorrhaging - and I don't see anything coming that will change that set of circumstances...

Of course, I'm not sure you're looking too hard given the bundle of misconceptions you're passing off as fact in this post...
