Thanks for your honesty in giving Brinker credit for picking the top. As you know, there were many others who were looking for Naz 6000 before Naz 2000. Anyone suggesting that he should have picked the top closer is just in denial.

At the time he explained that the topping process was impossible to pinpoint. Some of Bob's best shows were the ones discussing the historical context. From his discussions you could see the setting of the benchmark high and the subsequent revisits to that area. He put this whole event into a historical context. The whole thing began to unfold like a map and you could begin to sense that the bear was approaching. And it finally did. Those were some of his best shows.

To me, the process leading up to a bear market is fascinating to watch. To the traders who can time the bear with any precision, there is a lot of money to be made. Of course, anyone can make money in a bull market but only the best profit from the bear.
