Good point, e-Bill. That clarifies the point I was trying to make earlier about black against white cases of violence. Never hear them described as hate crimes, but you can bet your bottom dollar that lawyers for the white victim will pursue the increased penalties the dems seem to so dearly want. It is nonsensical laws and rules like the hate-crime legislation that leads to my belief that most dem leaders are only concerned about what "sounds good" to their constituents as opposed to what "is good" for them. What "is good" usually doesn't buy them as many votes.
