I agree and am learning to deal with the volatility and unexpected of investing in the patch. I try to keep enough on the table to catch a surprise ride up and take enough off the table to be able to reposition after selloffs.

For better or worse the energy shoulder season is coming with reckoning day on wall street. If wall street is ready throw out the baby with the bath water I will be ready. Unless the chicken littles are correct, we have only a couple of months before NG & gasoline supply concerns are back on the front pages.

Assuing a short term bear market for Oil & gas...

and then gas may come back strong in late summer as the lack of production meets the
increased generator and storage demand -

Assuming of course, that the sky only falls half way down - i.e. no huge economic collaspe
maybe just a drop in oil prices.

I may be selling some E& P stocks (even OXY) on the theory that I can buy them back cheaper later,
and they will have more of a run up with real rotation after March 31.
