John, Fleck's comments with regard to that article by Hickey..............
' Late in the day on
bubblevision, a couple of people e-mailed me that Joe
Kernan was talking about an interview with Fred Hickey in
The Wall Street Journal (which all of you should read).
Fred opined that the market could easily get cut in half (a
long-held view of mine). Apparently, Kernan made some
comments to the effect that, Gee, too bad he didn't share
this with us a year ago. Well, Joe, I've got news for you. He
said it a year ago. I said it a year ago. But you were too
busy castigating anyone with a skeptical or bearish view to
have heard anything. If you want to find someone to blame
for the fact that everyone's been bagged, my suggestion is
to go look in a mirror. '

It's ironic that Mr. Hickey points to the overvaluation of stocks like AMAT and Micron while in my last post I mentioned that the next four to six weeks would be crucial not only to this sector but a break down in prices for this group could point us in a direction that most of WS is not anticipating.
